Directions
Start by printing the template, then gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this activity to life!

Grab the fruits page and have your child color each fruit. Talk about what each word means as they color. This is such a sweet way to mix creativity with a little faith conversation.

Take the basket and the tag piece that says, “Mom, you show the fruit of the Spirit every day!” Help your child place the tag right in the center of the basket.

It’s time to build the basket. Take one of the fruit pieces, like the apple labeled goodness, and glue or place it along the top edge of the basket so it looks like it’s sitting inside.

Keep adding the rest of the fruits like peace, joy, faith, and love. Let your child decide where each fruit should go. Encourage your child to overlap them slightly so the basket looks full and colorful.

Take a moment to admire the finished craft together. This is such a meaningful keepsake and a beautiful way for kids to show Mom love while learning about faith.
