First, encourage your child to start by gluing the mouth in the middle of the handprint.

This handprint Mother’s Day craft is a fun and easy way for kids to create a cute strawberry using their handprints.

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Markers
  • Handprint mother’s day template

Instructions

  1. Download the template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  2. Begin by gluing the mouth in the middle of the handprint.
  3. Next, take the tongue and glue it to the bottom of the mouth.
  4. Glue the eyes in the middle of the head, above the mouth.
  5. Place the stem above the handprint and glue it to the back of the handprint.
  6. Now, glue the completed handprint strawberry to the center of the background paper.
  7. Draw the strawberry dots on the handprint.
  8. Finish up by gluing the blueberries and strawberries around the background paper.
