Paper Plate Vampire Craft For Kids [Free Template]

Who’s ready for Halloween???

If you’re here chances are you love celebrating Halloween with your family! And we do too!

But it’s not always easy to find non-scary ideas. Sometimes all you see is that gross Halloween stuff. You know what I’m talking about, right?

Well, that’s not what you’ll find here. This paper plate vampire craft is fun, very Halloween-y, and totally appropriate for young children!

We’ve made tons of paper plate crafts for kids and this is just our newest one.

To make this Halloween craft even simpler, we’ve included a free printable template for you to download.

Use it with your kids, your students, or even at a daycare facility; young kids of all ages will have a blast making it this fall!

Easy Vampire Craft

Supplies

  • Paper plates
  • Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Glue stick
  • Black marker
  • Vampire template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)

Directions

Download the vampire template, print, and cut out the pieces.

Paint your paper plate with 1-2 thin coats of paint and let dry completely. We used light blue and light purple, but feel free to pick any color your child wants!

Place the vampire’s face template on the dry paper plate and place it as close to the edge as you can. Trace the template and cut it out. Place the ear template on the unused portion of the painted paper plate, trace, and cut the ears out as well.

Glue the vampire’s hair to the top of the paper plate. Take the ears and glue them to the back of the paper plate, right around the end of the hairline.

Position the eyes in the middle of the plate and glue them in place.

Use the marker to draw on a small nose and smile just below the eyes. Glue the vampire fangs just below the mouth you drew on.

You’re done!
