First, encourage your child to glue the white stripes along the top of the gnome’s hat. Cut off any paper that hangs off the sides.
Place the gnome’s eyes in the middle of the face and glue them in place.
Next, guide your child to glue the beard to the bottom of the face.
Now, help your child glue the gnome nose between the eyes and the mouth so it overlaps both the bottom of the eyes and the top of the beard.
Position the red hat on the top of the gnome’s head, so it’s just overlapping the top of the eyes, and glue it in place.
Place the feet at the bottom of the gnome’s body and glue them in place.
Next, glue the gnome’s head to the top and front of the gnome’s body.
Take the star and glue it to the middle of the gnome body.
Finally, glue the hands on both sides of the star, so it looks like the gnome is holding it.
