There’s so much activity going on in the spring! Kids are able to play outside more now that the days are getting warmer and longer. The birds are chirping, the bees are buzzing, and the wind is blowing in the trees.
When you’re enjoying the sounds of spring on a walk or playing outside with the kids, they may notice all sorts of new insects and bugs. One of our favorite insects inspired our ladybug toilet paper roll craft!
These lucky insects are easy to spot since they’re bright red! Some think ladybugs are good luck if they land on you! Ladybugs are helpful insects since they help farmers by eating pests on crops.
Have kids learn more about these amazing insects when they recycle a toilet paper tube into a fun craft! We’ve provided a template and a step-by-step tutorial below that will make creating this craft with your kids a breeze!
Want some more easy toilet paper roll crafts for kids? They’re a great way to turn those used cardboard tubes into fun crafts from rockets to animals all year long.

The template for the Ladybug Toilet Paper Roll craft is nowhere to be found on the web page (at least to me!); it's way too difficult to keep clicking everything that says "ladybug" only to get nothing. What's the secret? Thanks very much!
