Cow Handprint Activity

Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this cow to life!

First, guide your child to trace your child’s hands onto a piece of white paper and cut out. Then glue the black spots around the body.

Glue the nose below the eyes.

Now, glue the horns to the top and back of the cow’s head.

Finally, encourage your child to draw the hooves at the end of the feet.

Materials

  • Black marker
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Cow template

Instructions

  • Download the cow template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by tracing your child’s hands onto a piece of white paper and cut out. Then glue the black spots around the body.
  • Next, glue the head to the thumb side of the handprint.
  • Glue the nose below the eyes.
  • Now, glue the horns to the top and back of the cow’s head.
  • Finish off by drawing the hooves at the bottom of the feet.
