Lady Liberty Torch Craft

Take the eye pieces and glue them onto the green torch base, just below the eyebrows. This gives your torch that wide-eyed, friendly look kids love!

Next, grab those little pink cheeks and glue them right under the eyes. It’s a small detail, but it makes the torch look extra cute! Alternatively, your child can draw them on with a pink marker.

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors

  • Statue of Liberty Torch Template

Instructions

  • Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin by gluing the eyes onto the torch base, just below the top edge.
  • Next, glue the cheeks below each of the eyes.
  • Then glue the smaller flame piece onto the middle-sized flame.
  • After that, glue the layered flames onto the largest flame base.
  • Finally, attach the completed flame to the back of the torch base.
