Valentine’s Day Sheep Craft
This easy Valentine’s Day activity is the perfect way to celebrate the season of love either at home or in the classroom. While kids assemble their Valentine greeting, they’ll unknowingly boost some essential skills like using scissors and fine motor control.
To get started, be sure to download our free sheep template and gather a few basic supplies to bring this lovable lamb to life.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors

Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this sheep to life!

First, guide your child to glue the top fluff piece to the top portion of the head.

Next, glue the eyes below the eyebrows.

Position the inner ears to the center of the ears and glue them in place.

Glue the head to the top portion of the body.

Now, help your child glue the heart in the center of the body.

Place the arms on each side of the heart and glue them down.

Finally, encourage your child to glue the feet to the bottom and back of the body.

Materials
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Sheep template
Instructions
- Download the sheep template, print it, and cut out the pieces.
- Begin by gluing the fluff to the top portion of the head.
- Next, glue the eyes below the eyebrows.
- Position the inner ears in the center of the ears and glue them in place.
- Glue the head to the top of the body.
- Now, glue the heart in the middle of the body.
- Place the arms on each side of the heart and glue them down.
- Finish off by gluing the feet to the back and bottom of the body.
