Printable Pirate Hat

Supplies
- White cardstock
- Markers (if coloring in)
- Scissors
- Tape or staples
- Paper Trimmer (optional)
- Pirate Headband (download form located at the end of this post, just before the comments)
Directions
This is one of the simplest activities, ever! Just in case you need assembly directions for this, here they are.
First, download the template and print it. We recommend using a heavier weight cardstock, so the headband is more durable.

After you’ve printed it, if you plan to color it in, do that first.
Next, cut along the outline and then cut out the extender pieces. We like to use paper trimmers for the straight lines because it’s faster, but if you don’t have one on hand scissors work too.

Once the pieces are cut out, attach the extender pieces to each side of the pirate hat base, with either tape or staples. We always seem to use tape, but staples work too.

Then once it’s all attached, wrap it around your child’s head to determine the size they need and tape, staple, or use a paper clip to make it in the correct size.
That’s it! We told you it was amazingly simple!
