Snowy Owl Craft For Winter

It’s a playful way to spark curiosity about wildlife while developing fine motor skills through cutting, coloring, and assembling the owl’s accessories.
Be sure to download our free owl template and gather a few basic supplies like colored paper, scissors, and glue. This project is easy to follow, and your child will love bringing the snowy owl to life.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Owl template (unlock the image at the end of the post to go to the download page)
Directions
Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this owl to life!
First, guide your child to glue the wings on both sides of the body.
Next, help your child glue the purple scarf on the neck of the owl.
Glue the eyes above the scarf.
Position the beak below the eyes and glue it in place.
Now, glue the feet to the bottom portion of the body.
Place the hat band on the bottom portion of the hat and glue it down.
Next, glue the hat pom to the top portion of the hat.
Finally, encourage your child to glue the hat on the head of the Owl.
