Paper Snowman Craft

It’s a fantastic way to get them off screens and engaged in a hands-on activity that sharpens fine motor skills while making a cute winter decoration.
Download our free snowman template, gather simple supplies like paper, glue, and stickers, and the kiddos will be ready to bring this fun winter project to life.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Black marker
- Snowman template (unlock the image at the end of the post to go to the download page)
Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this snowman to life!

First, guide your child to glue the white strips to create a snowflake body. Use the bigger strips for the bottom snowball and the smaller strips for the top snowball.

Next, glue the black buttons in the center of the bottom snowball.

Glue the green scarf on the neck of the snowman.

Place the carrot nose above the green scarf and glue it down.

Now, help your child glue the eyes above the nose.

Position the black hat on top of the snowman’s head.

Finish the hat by gluing the hat band to the bottom portion of the hat.

Next, draw the coal mouth below the nose.

Finish by placing the snowflake stickers around the background paper.
