Paper Walrus Craft

This craft is perfect for winter and introduces kids to the beauty of the animal world up north. To get started, grab our free walrus template and gather a few basic supplies like scissors, glue, and colored paper.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Walrus template (unlock the image at the end of the post to go to the download page)
Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this walrus to life!
First, guide your child to glue the belly to the bottom portion of the body.
Next, help your child to glue the legs on each side of the belly.
Glue the tusks to the bottom portion of the muzzle.
Position the nose in the center of the muzzle and glue it in place.
Now, glue the eyes below the eyebrows.
Place the muzzle below the eyes and glue it down.
Next, glue the cheeks on both sides of the eyes.
Finally, encourage your child to glue the walrus to the ice.
