Making your own Halloween crafts is an excellent way to get kids involved while also making happy memories around the holiday season!
One idea that we love for young children is this witch cut and paste craft.
This activity not only provides kids with an opportunity to have fun crafting, but it also helps them develop skills such as scissor use and following directions.
We’re giving you the free printable and your kids can choose exactly how they want to make it.
Either print it out in full color and begin assembling your witch or print it out in black and white and let the kids use their imagination to create their own unique witch!

Witch Craft For Kids

Supplies
- White cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Markers or crayons (if using the color in version)
- Witch printable (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)
Directions
Download the witch printable and print it out on white cardstock.
If you’re using the color in version, let the kids color all the pieces first.
Cut out all of the pieces.
Begin to assemble the witch by gluing the eyes to her face, one on each side of the nose.
Take the head and glue it on top of the hair, so that her chin is slightly lower than the bottom of her hair.
Place the bangs at the top of her and glue them in place.
Create the witch’s hat by gluing the hat band to the middle of the hat. Cut the excess paper off.
Glue the outer buckle to the middle of the hat band, then glue the inner buckle in the middle of the outer buckle.
Finish off the witch by gluing the hat to the top of her head!
