Last week I revealed a fun, baseball themed printable designed specifically for this baseball nursery for boys.
I introduced you to my all-things-sports-related ignorance, but I hope once you see this baby room, you won’t be able to tell I know nothing about baseball (or any sport really).
Coincidentally my husband isn’t a sports fanatic either (unless the Broncos are involved) so we never thought to decorate either of our boys’ nurseries in a sports theme. But if your husband obsesses over baseball, this nursery will be a dream come true for you both!
Baseball Nursery
When you look at this nursery inspiration board you can instantly see the baseball theme, but it doesn’t appear too over the top. Instead, it has a solid foundation of neutral and lasting furniture. The navy blue crib is modern and affordable. Both the dresser and the rocking chair are well crafted neutral pieces intended to last through multiple babies if necessary.
Once you look at all the individual accessories together the room comes alive with the baseball theme. All the wall art has an obvious baseball connection. The rug, with its shape and color, ties in the classic baseball colors of navy and blue along with the red desk lamp. The marquee letters are reminiscent of a classic scoreboard. And let’s not forget the small decorative items, like the pillows and pouf, which tie into the theme with the continuation of the black and navy color scheme.
All in all, I’d sum this baseball nursery theme up one phrase: home run!
