Easy Bear Handprint Craft (Free PDF Template)

It’s a fantastic opportunity for kids to use their creativity and imagination to see their handprints become a cute bear. Tracing their hand and assembling the bear will also hone their fine motor skills.

To get started, download our free bear template and gather some basic supplies. Your little cubs will be excited to craft their own cuddly bear and have a blast doing it.

Directions

Start by downloading the bear template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this bear to life!

First, encourage your child to glue the eyes on the face, below the eyebrows.

Next, glue the nose and mouth below the eyes.

Now, help your child to draw the inner ears to the center of the ears.

Position the head on the thumb and glue it in place.

Place and glue the tail at the back and right side of the body.

Finally, guide your child to draw the claws on the bottom portion of the legs.
