Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this cheerleader turkey to life!

Take the eye pieces from your template and gently glue them under both eyelashes.

Now for the disguise! Glue the pink cheerleader uniform right onto the turkey’s body. This instantly transforms our turkey into a super sporty cheerleader!

Grab the red snood. This is the little floppy red piece that hangs near the beak. Carefully glue it onto the face right under where the beak will go.

Next, we need the yellow beak piece. Glue the beak on top of the snood you just glued on. Now the turkey is starting to look very cheerful!

Let’s make this disguise perfect by adding hair! Take the hair piece and glue it to the top of the turkey’s head.

No cheerleader is complete without bows! Glue the adorable pink bow pieces right onto the center of each hair bun. Your turkey is looking so cute and stylish already!

Take the yellow feet pieces and glue them to the back and bottom edge of the turkey’s body, peeking out from under the dress.

Glue the large blue feather piece to the back of the turkey’s body.

Let’s make the pom poms! Use scissors to cut small, straight slits around the entire edge of the pink circle, moving toward the center but not cutting all the way through.

Gently fold the pom pom along the cut lines to give it a nice, fluffy appearance. Repeat this for the second pom pom circle.

Now for the very last, super important touch: the spirit gear! Take those fun, textured pom poms you just made and glue one to each of the turkey’s wings. Your adorable cheerleader turkey is now ready to spread some Thanksgiving cheer!
