Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Fastener
- Puncher

Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this crayon book to life!

Next, glue the crayon wrapper onto the crayon body to create the iconic crayon look.

Take the cover tag that reads “Back To School”. Glue this piece onto the crayon wrapper. This is the centerpiece of your crayon book!

Now it’s time to create the book’s page! Just take the lined paper page and glue it to the front of the back cover of the book.

Help your kids punch a hole at the top of the crayon craft. This hole will be used to secure your book.

Take a brass fastener and insert it into the hole you just punched. Spread the prongs to secure everything in place.

Instructions
- Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Begin by gluing the wrapper onto the crayon body piece.
- Next, glue the “Back To School” label onto the striped wrapper.
- Then, glue the lined paper page to the front of the back cover piece.
- Line up the two crayon pages and punch a hole through the top of the craft.
- Finally, insert a brass fastener the punched hole. Secure each fastener by spreading its prongs.
