Do you ever wish that you could go back in time?

If you’re alive I’d wager your answer is yes.

And while I’d love to tell myself something like “invest in google” or “jump on the Facebook bandwagon early”,  in all honesty I wish I could go back and tell myself to relax and just be a kid!

I’ve always had a type a, perfectionistic, be-the-best personality and I was pretty mature for my age.

The thing is, I don’t think I was able to ever really enjoy my child hood.

For some reason I put all this pressure on myself to be the best, to get the highest grades in the class, to measure myself against everyone else’s successes.

I still struggle with all those things today, but at least now I’m aware and I realize it’s not a healthy thing to do. As a kid I just knew it as the only life I’ve ever lived.
