Dr. Seuss Ideas

Kids will often develop a love for a particular book or author. This means that reading those books will be a favorite activity, but you can also take the theme from the book into other activities.

We have tons of ideas for continuing the children’s book theme. For example, you can create a Cat in the Hat paper bag puppet and make Thing One and Thing Two crafts. We have a “Dr. Seuss” section with printable activities celebrating the iconic author and his beloved stories.

We also have many coloring pages and puzzles to print out featuring book characters. These let the children explore their favorite characters in a hands-on way while they also enjoy some independent work.

Because they are familiar with the characters, they can use their imaginations to take the story further into playtime and crafts.

Reading to your kids or students has loads of positive benefits. It helps develop strong bonds, encourages creativity and imagination, increases language skills, provides comfort, promotes focus and concentration, and improves literacy.
