It’s been proven that baby animals are 105% cuter than human babies.
I should mention this study wasn’t exactly scientific in nature. Nor did it include a large sample size. In fact, there was only one participant.
Any guesses on who was the gracious participant was? Yep, it was me. But still, baby animals beat human babies any day in my book.
Which may be why I’ve created so many nurseries (like this minimalist nursery, this Rose Quartz nursery, or this vintage girl’s nursery) with baby animals in them in the past. And baby elephants are the pinnacle of cuteness. Which is reason enough to collect some of my favorite adorable and fun elephant nursery decor items.

Elephant themed baby rooms are a great choice for gender neutral nurseries since the majority of elephant products are gray anyway. You can easily create a grey and white gender neutral nursery or add in hints of masculine or feminine colors once your baby is born. Either way, I’d say let the elephants be the star of the room!
