I couldn’t believe it when my eyes darted to the small, unassuming package sitting there by the check out line.

The little yellow beauty called to me like a siren to a sailor.

Yes, I’m talking about the Tony Moly banana hand milk lotion.

I was just running into Ulta to grab something “real quick” when I spotted the most adorable banana packaging I had ever laid eyes on.

I’ll admit it; I’m such a sucker for the way things are presented. You could charge me twice as much for something that has sleek or modern packaging, even if it’s the exact same product, and I’d gladly accept. Just ask my husband. He’ll readily tell you that I am a magnet to the most expensive things in the store. It’s a gift, really 😉

Anyway, there I was in the check out browsing the small trial sized items (with a not so trial sized price) when I saw this banana shaped item. Immediately I picked it up, curious to know what laid inside this delightful package.

It read, “banana hand milk”. SOLD. Who doesn’t need banana hand milk?!

Actually, I didn’t really need more hand lotion or even have a desire for banana scented lotion, but it was too unique and unusual to pass up. I tossed it to the cashier, paid and giddily skipped out of the store, anxious to open my newest acquisition.

When I arrived home I opened it up and instantly fell in love. There’s a sticker on the banana that’s reminiscent of the Del Monte banana sticker with the brand and name on it. The banana itself has a somewhat smooth, somewhat grippy body that is easy to squeeze and dispense the perfect amount of lotion.

And the lotion? Well, that doesn’t disappoint either. In fact, I think this might be one of my most favorite hand lotions. It’s heavy enough to feel like it’s really hydrating my extra dry skin, but it doesn’t leave you feeling greasy in the least! And don’t forget about the pleasant banana-y smell.

All in all, it’s the best purchase I’ve made in a long time. Since it’s such a fun and quirky item, I knew it would lend itself perfectly to a small thank you gift idea! My wheels were turning, trying to come up with a suitable printable thank you tag to accompany this beauty, but I finally made the perfect one!
