I’m back again with another reader requested nursery art printable for you!

Several months ago when I posted this nautical anchor printable, I received a lovely comment from a reader.

She wanted to see if I could put together a special free printable for her.

Her suggestions were threefold.

One, she wanted something with butterflies. Two, she wanted to see if I could incorporate a specific quote. And three, she was thinking she would like something in purple.

With these ideas in mind, I set out to think of a printable that she would love.

This is what I came up with:

There is Freedom Waiting For You Free Printable

There is Freedom Waiting For You Free Printable | Go to sleep, wake up and spend your day reminding yourself of the endless possibilities in front of you when you download this free printable quote by Erin Hanson that reads.

After reading the quote and realizing it was the beginning part of the more famous “What if I fall? Oh but my darling, What if you fly?” quote that I’m sure we’ve all seen time and time again, I immediately loved the request.

It was something different; something more unique. I’ve never read the poem, so without any knowledge whatsoever of the context of this quote I decided to turn to my own interpretation.

To me, this quote is all about the possibility of the future.

On the one hand, you have this exciting unknown adventure beckoning to you, but on the other hand, you have the fear of failure.

You could stay where you are, but then nothing changes. Life becomes static and mundane. But if you take action, if you move, the wind will guide you and bring you to previously impossible new heights.

It’s a beautiful metaphor for life.

I thought a flowy script style font would communicate the feeling of freedom and flexibility. Add in watercolor and then you have the perfect organic lines and feeling to complement this quote.
