To get started, download our free Grinch snowman template and gather a few basic supplies. With just a little paper, some glue, and lots of holiday cheer, your kids will be ready to create their very own Grinchy snowman.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Snowflake stickers
- White pom pom
- Grinch template (unlock the image at the end of the post to go to the download page)
Directions
Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring the Grinch to life!
First, guide your child to glue the snow to the bottom of the background paper.
Next, glue the snowman body to the center of the paper.
Position the red scarf horizontally and glue it to the neck.
Now, glue the scarf tail vertically onto the other part of the scarf.
Glue the buttons to the center of the body.
Place the eyes below the eyebrows and secure them with glue.
Next, help your child glue the hat on the head.
Glue the white hat band to the bottom portion of the hat.
Place the hat pom to the pointed end of the red hat.
Finally, encourage your child to place snowflake stickers around the background.
