We just recently ran out of our giant stack of paper plates and had to go buy some more. This time, we happened to be at Target and got their Smartly coated paper plates.
We were a little concerned the coated plates may affect the way the paint sticks to it, but it was actually much better than uncoated plates!
Normally, the uncoated plates soak up a lot of the acrylic paint, but with the coated plates, it was so much better.
The moral of the story is if possible choose coated plates. They’re easier to work with when painting your plates.
