Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this witch brew to life!

Begin by painting the entire paper plate black. This is a great opportunity to let your practice fine motor control. Once the plate is fully painted, set it aside to dry completely.

After the paint has dried, place the cauldron outline on top of the paper plate. Use the line as your guide, then carefully cut out the cauldron shape. This will be the base of the witch’s cauldron.

Next, grab the top of the cauldron piece and glue it to the upper edge of the paper plate.

Glue the skull piece in the center of the plate. It adds just the right touch of spookiness to your cauldron.

Then carefully glue the green witch’s brew piece onto the top of the cauldron. Make sure the dripping edge hangs down over the purple piece to create that bubbling brew effect!

Now it’s time to add the spooky details! Glue the first bone piece to the top and back of the paper plate cauldron so it looks like it’s peeking out.

Grab the cloud-shaped witch’s brew piece and glue it to the top and back of the cauldron, just behind the bone. This will make the brew look full and boiling.

Take the other bone piece and glue it to the back of the potion.

Time for the finishing touches! Glue googly eyes of all sizes over the green brew and let your child get creative with where they place them.

Finally, take the cauldron feet and glue them to the back and bottom of the paper plate.

That’s it! You’ve created a bubbling witch’s brew cauldron. Kids will have so much fun showing off their spooky craft. While you’re here, check out more of our Halloween witch crafts for kids.
