Directions
Start by printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this polar bear to life!

Start by sponge painting the polar bear outline. Dip the sponge into white paint and gently tap it inside the bear shape. Keep dabbing until the whole body is filled in. Set it aside to dry completely before moving on.

Once dry, look for the scarf piece and glue it across the bear’s neck. That scarf already makes him look cozy!

Next, find the nose and mouth piece. Add glue to the back and glue it right in the center of the face, just above the scarf.

After that, glue the eyes onto the top portion of the bear’s face.

Grab your pink marker and lightly color in the inside of the ears.

Now, add two small pink circles beside the nose, on both sides. These are the cheeks. This gives your polar bear that cold weather blush and makes him look extra sweet.

Using a black marker, draw two small curved eyebrows above the eyes. Amazing how such a tiny detail can change the whole expression!

Let’s make it snow! Grab your snowflake stickers or foam snowflakes and glue them around the background first. Try placing them near the top and sides to frame your polar bear.

Fill in the rest of the background with smaller snowflakes. Spread them out so it looks like snow gently falling all around your bear. This is a great moment to let kids make creative choices.

Use a white gel pen or paint marker to draw tiny snow details in any empty spaces. Little dots, stars, or simple snowflakes work perfectly.

Now it’s time to finish the body details! Use the black marker to draw the leg lines and little toe marks on the paws. This step really brings the bear to life and helps kids practice careful line drawing.

Don’t you just love how this polar bear art turns out? The soft, snowy texture and cozy scarf make it such a fun winter craft that your kids will be proud to show off.
