Directions

Start by downloading the school bus template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this school bus to life!

First, guide your child to glue the windshield above the mouth of the school bus.

Next, help your child glue the red lights to the top of the bus.

Now, take the eyes and glue them to the windshield.

Position the bumper to the bottom portion of the bus and glue it in place.

Create the headlights by gluing the grey circle on both sides of the mouth.

Place the blue circle on the center of the grey circle and glue them in place.

Take the tires and glue them to the back and bottom portion of the bus.

This school bus name craft is a fun way to get kids creative while also practicing spelling their names.

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • School bus template

Instructions

  • Open the template in Adobe Reader, add your child's name to the stop sign shapes, print it, and cut out the pieces.
  • Begin by gluing the windshield above the mouth of the school bus.
  • Next, glue the red lights above the windshield.
  • Now, take the eyes and glue them to the windshield.
  • Position the bumper to the bottom portion of the bus and glue it in place.
  • Create the headlights by gluing the grey circle on both sides of the mouth.
  • Place the blue circle on the center of the grey circle and glue them in place.
  • Take the tires and glue them to the back and bottom portion of the bus.
  • Next, glue the completed school bus to the blue background paper.
  • Finish by gluing your child’s letters below the school bus to spell their name.
