Directions

Start by printing the template, then gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this skunk to life!

Look for the white head stripe and glue it onto the black skunk head. Line it up down the middle of the face and press it gently into place.

Grab the eye pieces and glue them onto the skunk’s face, one on each side of the head stripe.

Use the white marker to draw an eyebrow above each eye, giving your skunk even more personality.

Use a pink marker or crayon and let your child color in the skunk’s inner ears and cheeks. This is a simple way for kids to add their own colorful touch.

Trace your child’s hand onto black paper, then cut it out to create the skunk’s body. Next, glue the white body stripe along the top of the handprint. Take the finished skunk head and glue it onto the thumb side of the handprint.

Grab the black tail and white tail stripe, then glue the tail stripe onto the tail. Follow the curve as you line up the pieces, leaving the black edge visible.

Finish the craft by gluing the completed tail to the left side of the skunk’s handprint body. Let it curve out to the side, and your adorable skunk handprint craft is complete!
