I have to admit this Southwest baby nursery is my way of saying sorry.
I really do need to apologize to the entire southwest region.
Growing up in Arizona made me hate the scenery in these parts. All I ever saw in the natural landscape of Arizona was cactus, tumbleweeds and those squiggly heat lines in the far distance (I felt a little ridiculous calling them “squiggly heat lines” so I popped on over to Google and found out they’re actually called an inferior mirage. There’s some fun trivia for you!).
Southwest Baby Nursery
To me, living here was like death, especially during summer! Since I was surrounded by the barrenness of the desert I always longed for lush, green trees, grass, moss and anything else that brought a lively pop of color to the landscape. And because I was literally acting like the grass was greener on the other side, I was blind to all of the beauty that actually does exist in the desert.
All it took was a perspective shift and suddenly I was able to admit that there really was beauty in every habitat. This Southwest baby nursery celebrates the beauty of the natural landscape I live in. Traditionally southwest decor is rustic, but this nursery is modern and so on trend for this year.
