This Valentine’s season, invite your little ones to make this adorable Valentine name craft. A lovable bear is holding heart balloons that spell out your child’s name for a perfect blend of cuteness and festivity!
It’s a great craft for preschoolers to kindergarteners. Kids can either practice letter recognition and spelling their names with the letters on the balloons or practice handwriting by writing the letters in on each balloon to spell out their names.

Valentine Preschool Craft

You’ll need a handful of basic craft supplies and our free editable template to make this bear-y cute craft. The template makes it easy to type in the letters of your child’s name, to create a personalized craft that is as unique as your little one.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Marker
- Bear Template (click the “click here to get this freebie” image at the end to open the form)
Directions
Download the bear template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
Begin by gluing the belly to the middle and bottom of the bear’s body.
Place the mouth just above the belly and glue it in place.
Take the eyes and glue them, one on each side, just below the eyebrows.
Place the completed bear in the bottom right of the background piece of paper and glue it in place.
Next, glue the letter heart ballons along the top of the background piece of paper.
Finish up by drawing a line at the bottom of the heart balloon, connecting it to the bear’s hand. It will look like the bear is holding a string of balloons.
