Bird Valentine Craft Idea

To bring this adorable Valentine bird to life, all your little crafter will need are a few supplies readily available at home, coupled with our free printable template. Grab the scissors, glue, and colorful paper to get the kids creating a love filled masterpiece.

Supplies

• Colored cardstock or construction paper
• Scissors
• Glue
• Bird Template (click the “click here to get this freebie” image at the end to open the form)

Directions

Download the bird template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Begin by gluing the front wing to the right and front side of the body. Glue the left wing to the back and left of the bird’s body.

Place the tail feathers on the bottom side and back of the body, then glue it in place.

Position the legs in the center and at the bottom back of the body, then glue them in place.

Finish up by attaching the heart to the bottom of the beak. It will look like the beak is holding the heart.
