Buzz Lightyear Craft For Kids [Free Template]

Disney’s Toy Story is a timeless classic that has captured the hearts of children and adults alike.

The lovable characters and exciting adventures are sure to please any fan, and this Buzz Lightyear craft is the perfect way to bring the magic of Toy Story into your home.

And with the new movie Lightyear coming out is sure to cause a renewed interest for kids!

This simple activity is perfect for kids of all ages and can be easily completed with materials that you likely already have around the house.

All you need is some construction paper, scissors, glue, and markers. Once you have gathered your supplies, simply follow the instructions below to create your very own Buzz Lightyear!

Toy Story 4 Craft

Supplies

  • Colored card stock
  • White card stock 
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Black marker
  • Buzz Lightyear template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)

Directions

Download the Buzz Lightyear template and print it onto white card stock. Trace each piece onto the corresponding colored card stock and cut it out again.

Glue Buzz’s face onto the purple head piece.

Place the white eyes over Buzz’s eyes and glue them in place.

Take the purple head piece and glue it to the blue helmet bubble.

Glue the green base piece slightly on top of the end of Buzz’s purple head piece, at the bottom of the helmet bubble.

Take the blue trapezoid and glue it to the top of the green base, in the middle.

Take the red, green, and glue long oval buttons and glue them to the left of the blue trapezoid.

Glue the yellow rectangle and the red circle to the right side of the blue trapezoid.

That’s it!

This Toy Story craft is really simple to put together. If your child is older, they’ll be able to do all the steps by themselves.

If you’re doing this craft with preschool or kindergarten-aged children, you may have to have the template pieces all cut out and ready for them to glue together.

Buzz Lightyear Craft For Kids (With Free Template)

Make this easy Buzz Lightyear paper craft for kids to celebrate the release of Lightyear!

Materials

Tools

  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Black marker
  • Circle punches (optional)

Instructions

  1. Download the Buzz Lightyear template and print it onto white card stock. Trace each piece onto the corresponding colored card stock and cut it out again.
  2. Glue Buzz's face onto the purple head piece.
  3. Place the white eyes over Buzz's eyes and glue them in place.
