Torn Paper Bat Craft For Kids (Free PDF Template)

Tearing and gluing paper helps build fine motor skills and improve bilateral coordination and hand-eye coordination. Plus, they’re building their dexterity, improving their focus, and creating a spook-tacular bat to show off this Halloween.

Directions

Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring bat to life!

First, encourage your child to spread glue on the bat’s body.

Next, tear the black paper into small pieces, then glue them onto the background paper.

Place the inner ears in the center of the outer ears and glue them in place.

Now, help your child glue the eyes below the ears.

Finally, guide your child in drawing the nose and mouth of the bat with a white paint pen.

Instructions

  1. Download the template, print it, and cut out the necessary pieces.
  2. Begin by spreading glue on the bat's body.
  3. Next, tear the black paper into small pieces, then glue them onto the background paper.
