Christmas Tree Paper Bag Puppet Craft [FREE Template]

Simple Christmas Tree Craft

Supplies

  • Brown paper bag
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Christmas tree template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)

Directions

Download the Christmas tree template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Optionally: If you want your puppet to look more colorful, glue the red background pieces to the flap and main portion of the brown paper bag.

Create the Christmas tree’s face by gluing the eyes just above the mouth.

Next, glue the star to the top of the tree.

Glue the head part of the tree to the flap portion of the brown paper bag.

Take the body portion of the tree and glue it to the main portion of the brown paper bag.

Finally, finish the Christmas tree body by gluing the colorful ornaments all over the tree.
