If you’re looking for a Valentine’s Day idea kids can make for someone special, this Valentine snail craft fits the bill. Kids cut, glue, and put it together, then it’s ready to give to Mom, Dad, a grandparent, or another favorite grown-up. There’s no writing step to manage, which helps younger kids stay focused on making instead of getting stuck or frustrated.
This works well when you want a short, clear activity, at home after school, during a classroom craft block, or as part of a Valentine’s celebration. Kids finish with something they’re proud to carry home, and you’re not left stretching the project or cleaning up loose parts.

Look for the eyes and the snail’s body. Glue the eyes onto the top of the snail’s eye stalks. Your snail can see now and already looks so happy!

Now let’s give your snail its home. Grab the shell piece and glue it onto the back of the snail body.

Time for the fun Valentine pun! Find the slime trail piece and glue it along the bottom of the snail so it looks like the snail is sliding along the trail.
