This ghost disguise project will transform a plain white ghost into a colorful dinosaur character ready for Halloween! Kids can choose their favorite color to customize the ghost’s prehistoric costume that ends up being more playful than scary.
While kids are getting creative, they’re also strengthening fine motor skills as they cut, glue, and arrange the pieces of their dinosaur ghost craft. This project also gets kids’ imaginations going and helps them feel proud and confident about their creations.

Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors

Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this dinosaur ghost to life!

Grab the dinosaur costume and the belly piece. Then, glue the belly onto the bottom center of the costume.

Glue the dinosaur costume to the top of the ghost body. Let the wavy edges of the ghost peek out from the bottom.

Let’s give our ghost some personality! Take the ghost face piece and glue it just under the dinosaur’s face, following the outline on the costume.

Almost done! Now, grab the smaller yellow tail spines and attach them to the tail of the dinosaur costume.

Lastly, take the larger yellow head spines and glue them on top of the dinosaur’s head.

Instructions
- Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Begin by gluing the belly piece onto the bottom center of the dinosaur costume.
- Next, glue the dinosaur costume onto the ghost's body, letting the wavy edges show on the bottom.
