Printable Forest Animal Cutting Practice Worksheets

Each worksheet in this set has its own little adventure with adorable forest animals and colorful illustrations for kids to enjoy!

The first page introduces simple to more challenging cutting paths. Children start with a straight line leading to a strawberry, then move on to curved, wavy, and zigzag lines that guide them toward forest treasures like mushrooms and acorns.

On the second page, they will meet a charming deer waiting at the end of a long, winding path. The line loops and curves, encouraging them to practice steady movements while following a continuous path!

The third and fourth pages add matching and early math exercises. They will cut out rectangles with bird images and glue them into the correct spaces beside the matching forest birds.

Kids cut out numbers and match them to sets of forest-themed objects, such as squirrels, acorns, and leaves.

These different paths help the little ones develop hand control, grip strength, and precision as they learn to handle scissors with confidence.

With added matching and counting challenges, these are great tools to develop more than just fine motor control. Younger learners also get to skills, such as problem solving, counting, and number recognition.

This worksheet is a forest-themed cutting and counting activity for kids. It features five rows of illustrated objects (raccoons, mushrooms, leaves, skunks, and a tree stump with acorns), with a blank box next to each row. On the right side, numbers 1 through 5 are in dashed cut-out boxes. Children are instructed to cut out the numbers and glue them into the corresponding boxes based on how many items appear in each row. A pair of green safety scissors is placed beside the sheet.Pin
