Scissors

Directions

Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this black cat to life!

Using a black marker, draw parallel lines inside each of the empty shapes surrounding the black cat. Change the angle of the different shapes to give the art project more visual interest.

Help your child color the entire background a solid color or color each lined shape a different color.

Now, guide your child to color the cat’s eyes yellow.
