Hedgehog Scissor Practice
These worksheets are full of variety, so little hands can snip, match, and follow paths while meeting adorable hedgehogs along the way. The charming hedgehog designs keep them engaged, turning scissor practice into something they’ll look forward to.
The entire set is designed so that they face a different exercise, so children can enjoy variety while practicing.
The first page combines number recognition with cutting practice, featuring rows of lovely hedgehogs in different quantities paired with large, easy-to-cut number boxes.

Children cut out the numbers and glue them into the matching boxes. That means they get to practice while working on straight-line cutting and paper handling.
On the second page, children get to complete hedgehog pictures by cutting out missing halves and gluing them to match the correct body. This strengthens visual discrimination, problem-solving, and the ability to line up edges accurately.
The third sheet focuses on cutting along wavy paths that lead directly to a waiting hedgehog.
Kids follow the dashed lines from start to finish, which helps children develop control over their hand movements, improve coordination, and build confidence with curvy cuts.
The last page offers several shorter paths in different shapes: curves, zigzags, and arcs. Of course, each of them leads to different images of vibrant hedgehogs.
This variety helps them learn to adapt their scissor movements to different patterns, sharpening their fine motor skills and boosting confidence in handling more complex shapes.
