This is a great companion activity when learning about this piece of American history. Itโs also a great opportunity to hone kidsโ fine motor skills as they cut and paste their little Johnny together.

Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors

Directions
Start by downloading the Johnny Appleseed template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and letโs help the kids bring this character to life!
First, guide your child to glue the eyes just below each of the eyebrows and secure them with glue.
Next, glue the hair on the top portion of the face.
Now, place the white shirt on the middle part of the body and glue it in place.
Glue the blue pants to the lower part of the body.
Position the red vest on the body and glue it in place.
Now, help your child glue the pan hat to the top of the hair.
Finally, encourage your child to glue the apple on the arm.
