Everyone loves llamas, right? They’re fluffy and adorable! Just don’t get one mad or they might just spit on you!

Spitting aside, we think this llama headband craft is a fun and easy farm animal craft for kids to make.

You can print out the template in black and white for young kids to color in or you can print out the craft version for older kids to make themselves.

Either way, they’ll love wearing their new creation!

Llama Craft

Supplies

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Tape or stapler
  • Markers or crayons (if using the color in version)
  • Llama template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)

Directions

Download the llama template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Begin to assemble the face by gluing the eyes near the middle of the head.

Take the nose and mouth and glue them in between and slightly overlapping the bottom of the eyes.

Place the cheeks on either side of the outside of the eyes and glue them in place.

Next, glue the inner ears to the outer ears.

Finish off the face by using a dark brown marker or crayon to draw on scalloped lines to look like fur.

Tape or staple an extender on each side of the headband base.

Materials

Instructions

  • Download the llama template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
  • Begin to assemble the face by gluing the eyes near the middle of the head.
  • Take the nose and mouth and glue them in between and slightly overlapping the bottom of the eyes.
  • Place the cheeks on either side of the outside of the eyes and glue them in place.
  • Next, glue the inner ears to the outer ears.
  • Finish off the face by using a dark brown marker or crayon to draw on scalloped lines to look like fur.
