How To Make A Snowman Art & Craft

You’ll need some everyday crafting supplies, including a simple paper plate and our free template to start building this snowman! Read below for our step-by-step instructions to guide your little ones on how to make a moving snowman that’s ready to play in a winter wonderland.

Supplies

• Paper Plate
• Blue Paint
• Paint Brush
• Colored cardstock or construction paper
• Scissors
• Glue
• Markers
• Snowflakes stickers
• Popsicle Sticks
• Double Sided Tape

Directions

Download the snowman template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Begin by painting the paper plate in 1-2 thin coats of blue paint. Let it dry completely before moving on. Once it is already dry, place snowflake stickers around the paper plate.

Use the orange marker to draw the snowman’s nose.

Next, glue the hat to the top of the snowman’s head.

Glue the stick arms to the back and top section of the body.

Flip the snowman’s body and tape the jumbo popsicle stick to the back.

Place the snowman in the middle of the paper plate. Finish up by using double-sided tape on the sides of the snow piece, leaving space for the snowman to move.
