Pete The Cat Gingerbread Project Idea

Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- White Marker

Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this Pete the Cat gingerbread to life!

Grab the body piece and glue the eyes onto his head.

Find the small white triangular nose piece. Place and glue this piece right below the eyes, centered on his face.

Take the yellow shirt cutout and glue it right onto the blue body piece. Make sure the shirt collar lines up just below his head.

Let’s add the three paper buttons: blue, red, and green. Glue them straight down the center of his yellow shirt.

Now for the fun part! Grab the white marker or gel pen. We’re going to draw the white wavy icing patterns onto his legs and arms.

Almost done! Take the blue, curled tail piece. Glue the tail to the back of the craft, positioned near the bottom side.

Instructions
- Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Begin by gluing the eyes onto the head.
- Next, take the nose piece and glue it centered just below the eyes.
- Now, take the shirt cutout and glue it onto the body.
- Glue the three paper buttons straight down the center of the shirt.
- Now, use a white paint pen or gel marker to draw wavy icing patterns onto the legs and arms.
