Fun Princess Turkey Disguise Craft

Have you heard of the turkey in disguise project? Here’s a little background…
The turkey in disguise project takes place during the month of November and it’s by far one of our favorite school projects. In it, students have to find clever ways to dress up a turkey to save him from being eaten for Thanksgiving.
How adorable is that? Not only is this project cute, but it also allows you to connect creatively as a family. And if your kiddos are crazy about turkeys, pilgrims, pumpkins, and costumes, they’re going to love this princess turkey disguise activity.
Aside from encouraging kids to think creatively, this project also improves fine motor skills.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Princess turkey template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)
Directions
Download the turkey template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Begin by gluing the bangs to the front and top of the turkey’s head. Take the main portion of the hair and glue it to the middle and back of the turkey’s head.


Next, glue the dress to the turkey’s body.

Place the wings, one on each side of the dress, and glue them in place.

Glue the snood in between and near the bottom of the eyes, then glue the beak on top of it.


Next, glue the crown to the turkey’s hair.

Finish by gluing the turkey body to the middle of the feathers.
