These worksheets will have your preschoolers and kindergarteners excited to learn with four different activities that will have them counting while also working on fine motor skills and scissor skills.
Best of all, you can easily print these worksheets for a quick, no-prep activity that’s perfect for busy fall days. Grab some scissors and a pencil, and get them ready to count pumpkins!
Inside this pumpkin counting worksheet bundle, we’ve included the following four pages:
- Count, Cut, and Paste worksheet
- Find and Count Worksheet
- Counting Practice Worksheet
- Count and Match worksheet
Count, Cut, and Paste Worksheet
Start with the count, cut, and paste worksheet, where kids count the number of pumpkins next to each square. Then, cut out the number labels at the bottom of the page and paste them in the box next to the correct number of pumpkins.
When kids complete this worksheet, they will use all sorts of skills! They’ll practice counting, number recognition, cutting, and pasting, which also work their fine motor skills.

Find and Count Worksheet
On the next worksheet, kids will find six different pumpkins and count the number of each. At the bottom of the page is a list of all the pumpkins for them to write the correct number of how many there are of that image in the box next to it.
These are great for preschoolers because they help sharpen their observation skills and improve their counting skills. Plus, the focus required to find each pumpkin boosts their attention to detail and reinforces early math concepts in a fun, hands-on way!

Counting Practice Printable
The next worksheet will have kids counting the pumpkin patch but with a twist. Some of the pumpkins are already numbered, and some are left blank. Kids will fill in the blank pumpkins with the correct number that comes next.
This activity helps reinforce number sequencing and number patterns and allows kids to practice writing numbers.

Count and Match Page
The last page in our set is the count-and-match worksheet. Kids count the pumpkins on the right side of the page and draw a line to match them with the correct number on the left.
This worksheet works on basic math concepts like number recognition and counting. Drawing the lines to match the pumpkins with the numbers also reinforces fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and focus.
