Pumpkin Craft For Preschoolers [FREE Template]

Fall is our favorite time of year, and to celebrate this beautiful season, we’re sharing this cute pumpkin craft for preschoolers.

Supplies

Directions

Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this pumpkin to life!

First, guide your child to take the middle pumpkin piece with the smile on it and glue it to the outside pieces.

Next, help your child glue the outermost pumpkin pieces to the middle pieces.

Glue the eyes in the middle of the pumpkin shape, just above the mouth.

Place the pumpkin leaf at the top of the pumpkin and glue it to the back. Do the same for the pumpkin stem.

To add a pumpkin spiral, encourage your child to cut out a long, thin strip from the green paper. Wrap it around your finger, then glue it next to the base of the pumpkin.

Pumpkin Craft For Preschoolers

This easy pumpkin craft for preschoolers is a fun way to celebrate fall or Halloween!

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • White cardstock
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Pumpkin template

Instructions

  1. Download the pumpkin template, print, and cut out the pieces.
  2. Begin by taking the middle pumpkin piece, with the smile on it, and glue it to the middle pumpkin pieces.
  3. Next glue the outside pumpkin pieces to the middle piece.
  4. Glue the eyes in the middle of the pumpkin, just above the mouth.
  5. Place the pumpkin leaf at the top of the pumpkin and glue it to the back. Do the same for the pumpkin stem.
  6. To add a pumpkin spiral, cut out a long, thin strip from the green paper. Wrap it around your finger, then glue it next to the base of the pumpkin.
