Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this seagull to life!

Take your white paper plate and cut it in half. This will be the main body of your seagull. Grab the gray wing piece and glue it down on the right side of the paper plate. Line it up so the wing fits nicely along the curve of the plate.

Now let’s stick on the tail feathers. Grab the dark gray tail piece and add some glue to the straight edge.
Then press it onto the back right side of the paper plate, right where the body curves. That’s it! Just hold it in place for a few seconds so it sticks well.

Time to give your seagull some legs! Take one of the yellow leg pieces and glue the top of it to the back side of the paper plate, right along the bottom edge.
The leg should hang straight down, and the foot should curve gently outward to the left. Hold it in place for a few seconds to help it stick.

Grab the second yellow leg and add glue to the top. Stick it along the bottom edge of the paper plate, spaced slightly apart from the first leg, so both hang down evenly. Make sure the foot curves in the same direction as the first one, then press it down gently to secure.

Let’s give your seagull a face! Grab the eye piece and glue it near the top left side of the white head piece. Then, press it down gently. This is the part where the seagull starts to look extra cute.

Add glue to the base of the beak and stick it to the left side of the head, just below the eye. The pointed tip should face out to the left. Press it down to secure.

Finally, take the finished head piece and add glue along the bottom edge. Then, stick it to the top left side of the paper plate body. Hold it in place for a few seconds to let it set. That’s it—your seagull is done and ready to show off!
