Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this reindeer to life!

Glue the lower face piece onto the head so your reindeer starts to take shape.

Look for the eyes and glue them below the eyebrows to bring the reindeer’s face to life. This is the moment kids usually get excited because it starts looking real!

Next, glue the inner ears onto the outer ears to give your reindeer that soft, cozy look.

Let’s give our reindeer its sweet little nose! Find the oval nose piece and glue it right in the center between the eyes and mouth.

Next up, the antlers! Grab both antlers and glue them behind the top of the head.

Now let’s work on the reindeer body. Take your brown paper bag, bottom flap facing to the back. Glue the two leg hooves onto the bottom front of the bag. This becomes the adorable little feet of your reindeer!

Find the oval belly traced on beige paper and help your child glue it right above the hooves.

Grab the arms and the smaller arm hooves. Glue each hoof onto the bottom of the arms. These will soon become the reindeer’s little arms.

Let’s glue the legs onto the front of the bag, placing them so they angle inward a bit toward the belly.

Here’s the fun hands-on part! Have your child crumple up some scrap paper and stuff it inside the paper bag. This step is great for sensory and motor skills. Fill it just enough to make the bag nice and plump.

Once your bag is filled, help your child fold or scrunch the bottom together and tape it closed.

Finally, let’s finish your adorable creation! Glue the reindeer’s head to the very top of the stuffed paper bag so it sits right above the body. Press firmly so it sticks well.

Isn’t this stuffed paper bag reindeer the cutest? If your little ones had fun making this reindeer, be sure to check out more of our favorite Christmas crafts to keep the holiday magic going!
