Ever since Toy Story 4 was released, Forky has instantly become the new favorite character!
He’s everywhere in the stores and he even has his own show on Disney+ called Forky Asks A Question.
If your kids love Forky too, they’ll want to make this toilet paper roll Forky craft. He’s a fun recycled craft project that the kids can play with when they’re done making him!

Cardboard Tube Forky Project

Supplies
- Toilet paper roll core
- White printer paper
- Colored cardstock (in brown and light brown)
- Red pipe cleaners (2)
- Glue stick
- Tape
- Scissors
- Forky craft template (download form located at the end of this post)
Directions
Download the Forky cardboard tube template and cut out. Normally we like to use thick cardstock for most craft projects, but this is one instance in which we wouldn’t recommend thick paper.
The thick paper makes it harder to glue (and stay attached to) the cardboard tube so just use plain printer paper.
Glue Forky’s clay mound to the bottom of the white body base. Flip the paper over and add glue all over the backside. Glue this to the toilet paper roll core.
Wrap one red pipe cleaner around Forky’s body, just a little below his mouth. Twist the ends together in the back so it’s snug, then cut off the excess.
Next, fold the other red pipe cleaner to create Forky’s hands. Bend this pipe cleaner so it fits around the cardboard tube and tape in place on the backside.
Fold Forky’s popsicle stick feet when they’re angled in. Use a piece of tape to tape each one on the bottom, inside of the paper roll core.
Now your child has a fun, cute and cheap Forky toy to play with! If your kids had fun making this they’ll also love making this Forky headband craft or using these Forky coloring pages.
Since this craft comes with a free printable we think it’s great to do with your kids at home, but also at daycares and libraries.
