Fish Handprint Craft For Kids [Free Template]

If there’s one thing kids love, it’s pets.

From dogs and cats to hamsters and turtles, kids of all ages are drawn to animals that they can interact with and care for.

That’s why today we’re sharing this fun fish handprint craft that kids will love creating!

Handprint Fish Bowl Craft

Supplies

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Pencil
  • Fish template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)

Directions

Download the fish template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Take the water piece and glue it in the middle of the fish bowl.

Place the sand at the bottom of the water and glue it down.

Next, glue a couple of pieces of the plants to the sand.

Trace your child’s hand onto a piece of colored paper and cut it out. Create the fish by gluing the mouth to the palm end of the handprint.

Place the eye near the palm end of the fish and glue it down, then glue the cheek just below the eye. Use a marker to draw some scales on the fish.

Glue the fish somewhere on top of the water.

Finish off by gluing some bubbles just above your fish’s mouth.

Materials

Instructions

  1. Download the fish template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
